So so charming! A working fireplace in our room, the cutest little pink hotel you ever did see, amazing location, a bed made of pure heaven, and the best customer service in this magical little city! I walked into our weekend getaway greeted by my favorite flowers, champagne on ice, strawberries, chocolates, and treats. Bijou went above and beyond to make my husband look like the catch of a lifetime on our anniversary weekend. Tons of restaurants and shops in walking distance. 10 out of 10 would recommend. All the stars. Love this place.

This place was great! This place was less expensive than a lot of other places but has good quality. We spent a day in Charleston and stayed here. It was right downtown. It is a good place. The themed rooms is a cool idea. The house is older which makes you get a feel for the city and its vibes. The snacks/breakfast was good and available anytime, which was nice. It was close to some horse stalls but it wasn't very smelly. If you plan on arriving after 4pm, you'll have to email the owner so that she can give you the key. I'd come here again.

We had a lovely 3 night stay at this small boutique hotel. Excellent service and ideal location for sight seeing. Each room is unique and darling. We used the gas fireplace in the evening and was very special. Being an older home, there are quirks in the lighting, locks and bed, but the bedding itself was super soft. We were happy to have a smaller BNB with lots of charm

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming downtown Charleston inn! From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, making me feel right at home. The inn itself is a beautifully preserved gem, full of historic charm and character. We stayed in the Indigo Room, which was spotlessly clean, and the bed was so comfortable that I slept like a dream. The 24-hour snack selection was a delightful touch, offering tasty treats whenever I needed a little pick-me-up. Everything about this place exudes warmth and hospitality—I can’t wait to return! Highly recommend for a perfect Charleston getaway. Five stars!

All I can say is…WOW! This place is a hidden gem in Charleston for sure. Everybody was so welcoming, communication was incredibly fast, and they even brought our bags up to the room when it was ready! Even before and after our check-in/out time, the staff was so kind and helpful and allowed us to keep our bags in the lobby while we went to explore! If you’re looking to stay somewhere in downtown Charleston, this is for sure the place to book. Very walkable to so many great bars, restaurants, the market, and not to mention you’re in between two horse stables which really adds to the overall vibe. Once in the room, you wouldn’t even know there were horse carriages going by…it’s so peaceful! We stayed in the Indigo Room and were floored by how beautifully it was decorated. They also had a great a/c unit which is a must have for summer; it kept our room ice cold! This was our first time traveling down south, and this place really goes above and beyond to show you their hospitality!

We stayed here for 5 nights in march in the Indigo room . Perfect Location right by the market and everything is within walking distance. Room was clean, beds were comfortable , and the worker came everyday to replace towels and clean the room . The staff was very friendly and helpful. This is a boutique hotel that has the old charm look and feel of historic Charleston . We absolutely loved it and would stay again when coming to Charleston.

We had 2 lovely nights in Palmer Pinckney in April &were very happy with our accommodations. The room was lovely& beautifully appointed, from toiletries to robes in the wardrobe. In the morning they provided a continental breakfast with plenty of offerings. Our room was peaceful even tho we were on ground floor, right across from a restaurant. We never heard any noise from there. Only a trash truck one morning. I also liked being right by the horse stables &don't worry the horses are very well taken care of. Pretty cool to wake up to! The staff is delightful too! The inn is well placed an easy walk to pretty much anywhere in Charleston!

This was the most darling little bed and breakfast! The bed was comfortable and the room and decor so lovely. The location couldn’t have been better! There were muffins, yogurts, fruit, cereals, coffee, teas, and even hot chocolate! They had options for gluten and dairy free which was so nice. We were scheduled to arrive during Hurricane Ian, which made us very nervous. They were so helpful and kind. Very available to communicate with via email and calmed our fears. They kept saying the city could have some flooding or lose power for a couple hours but it will be beautiful the next day. We almost canceled several times but we are so glad we didn’t! They were right! It was just a bad rainstorm. They provided an umbrella and flashlight, had battery powered candles just in case and our room had a gas powered fireplace and everything was perfect. So lovely and cozy. Some streets had water on them but we just turned and took a higher road. The inn sits on some of the highest ground so the streets all around it were fine. As soon as the grade 1 hurricane passed and the rain and wind stopped, we were able to go out and explore the city in peace and quiet without any cars on the roads. It was actually our favorite day. The rest of our trip was sunny and perfect! Wonderful temperatures and all the water was gone within a few hours. They were right! It ended up being the perfect time to visit Charleston. We couldn’t have found a more perfect place to stay. Right by city market and in the French Quarter, which was our most favorite part of the city. It was quiet and quaint and still close to everything we wanted to do. We parked at the nearby Cumberland garage at $20/day and were close to so many incredible restaurants and never needed to leave except for when we wanted to visit the angel oak tree and a plantation. We hope to come back to this beautiful city and would definitely stay at the Bijou Inn!
